We're doing matchmaking now!
Hello fellow Sophonauts!
We’re back and I’m super pumped to write this! I’ll cut to the chase: we’re opening the beta and announcing a new matchmaking service for coaching! We now have coaches for every category of wellness: financial, occupational, emotional, environmental, spiritual, intellectual, physical, and social.
If you’ve ever considered working with a coach and haven’t pulled the trigger, now is definitely the time to try it out. We’ve spent a lot of time and effort on this: we built the best personality test ever created, recruited the world’s best coaches, and now we are putting those pieces together. You can reply to this email or email us at [email protected] if you want to be one of the first people to match with help that fits you specifically.
(If you are a coach and want to get matched with clients, just email me to apply!)
What is even happening in this picture? Everyone is hi-fiving and Alice is having a moment… She’s probably thinking: “I need coaching”

If you still haven’t taken the test! https://app.sophonaut.com/
We call the next feature we’re shipping “groups.” It’s self explanatory, you can make groups of people to view their personalities against yours. This is useful for people who are using the assessment for research or for people who offer group coaching.
Our Discord: if you want to talk to people about personality/behavior. Come say hi! https://discord.gg/aGPu9s9JBE
Just for fun! Craig, one of the coaches we work with talks about micro-expressions and reading people: https://www.tiktok.com/@craigethan/video/7275716545614056747
That’s it, go back to whatever you’re procrastinating!

About Sophonaut
Sophonaut means “wisdom sailor” and was founded by Peter DePaulo and Tyler Capps . It’s a project with the intent of solving several problems that humanity faces by attacking the most upstream problem: people don’t understand and cannot control their own behavior.
The approach here is to hijack desire to move people up on the scale of their own development. Our models for this are based on a modified version of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, a ton of personality psychology, and Robert Kegan’s model of adult development.
